Happy Monday, and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into improving the look and feel of the Tabletop Thoughts YouTube channel — especially the video thumbnails. If you’ve visited the channel recently, you’ve probably noticed things are getting a little bolder, cleaner, and a lot more eye-catching. Below is an older video that I redid the thumbnail for:

The goal is simple: make it easier to spot the kinds of videos you love at a glance.
Whether it’s miniature painting, dungeon terrain builds, Shadowdark content, DM advice, hobby room chaos, or the occasional “what was I thinking?” crafting experiment, I wanted the channel visuals to reflect the energy of the hobby itself better. Tabletop gaming should feel exciting, creative, and a little unpredictable — and the new thumbnails are starting to capture that vibe.
I’ve also been working to organize content more clearly so it’s easier to jump into the kinds of videos you’re most interested in:
- Painting tutorials
- Terrain crafting
- RPG discussions
- Hobby updates
- Product reviews
- Shadowdark-inspired content
- And whatever strange project has currently taken over my hobby desk
One of the biggest challenges with YouTube is getting videos noticed in the first place. Great games, miniatures, and terrain builds don’t help much if no one clicks the video! These new thumbnail designs are part of an ongoing effort to make the channel more fun to browse while still keeping the content authentic and hobby-focused.
So if you haven’t checked out the YouTube channel lately, now’s a great time to take another look.
You can find the channel here:

And if you enjoy the content, subscribing genuinely helps more than most people realize. Every like, comment, and subscription helps the channel grow and allows me to keep creating more tabletop content for all of us who love rolling dice, painting minis, and building worlds.
Thanks again for being part of the Tabletop Thoughts community.
Keep on gaming!
