Happy Wednesaday, and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!
The votes are in, the paints are dry, and the Ironmoor Troll is finally complete!
For May 2026’s Print, Paint, and Play, the community picked this massive troll miniature, and I had an absolute blast bringing it to life. From layered speed paints and metallic armor to textured fur, washes, highlights, and scenic basing, this project turned into one of my favorite monster paints so far.
In the video, I walk through the full process step-by-step and show exactly how I tackled the model from start to finish. If you enjoy miniature painting, tabletop terrain, resin printing, or just watching monsters slowly come alive on the hobby desk, I think you’ll enjoy this one.

But I also need your help for next month!
