Happy Friday, and welcome back to Tablethop Thoughts!

I’m excited to announce the release of my newest Shadowdark supplement, Forged in Darkness, now available on DriveThruRPG.
This supplement expands Shadowdark gameplay by adding rules for magical research and equipment quality, giving players new ways to interact with magic, gear, and downtime in their campaigns.
Wizards can design and research their own spells through dangerous experimentation, crafting research scrolls and risking arcane mishaps along the way. Priests, on the other hand, must petition their deities for miracles through offerings, ritual devotion, and faith—knowing that failure may draw divine consequences.
Forged in Darkness also introduces an Equipment Quality system that makes weapons and armor more meaningful in play. Gear can range from ruined scrap to legendary mastercraft items, and equipment can be repaired, reforged, or discovered as treasure throughout your adventures.
The supplement is designed to layer on top of Shadowdark’s core rules, adding depth and story potential without changing the core mechanics of the game.
Best of all, Forged in Darkness is released as Pay What You Want, so you can download it for free or support the project if you enjoy the content.
You can grab the supplement here:

If you check it out, please consider leaving a review on DriveThruRPG—it helps other players discover the supplement and supports future releases.
More Shadowdark tools, supplements, and discussions are always on the way here at Tabletop Thoughts.
More tools. More darkness. More danger.
Keep on gaming!
