New Snakepeople Models for Tabletop Gaming

04/29/2025

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!

This week, I am working on painting a BUNCH of miniatures. I was hoping to do another crafting video this week, but I don’t think that is going to be possible. I am going to a Viking festival this Saturday, so my crafting time will be limited.

I finally got the Snakepeople on the painting table. I am going with Absolution Green for the skin, Forest Sprite for the underbellies, and Purple Alchemy for the mouths. I like the way they are turning out so far. I still need to do the fangs and other parts like clothing and weapons, but I am making progress on the group.

Just when I thought I would have a majority of the snake people finished up this week, EC3D Designs drops more snakepeople on me when we unlocked a stretch goal on the Beasts and Baddies Vol 2 Campaign! These models look too good not to include in the project.

I have all four of the new snakepeople on my Elegoo Mars 3 right now. I printed them overnight and will get them cleaned up when I get home.

After the snakes are complete, I might do some Bullywogs. I have models from The Printing Goes Ever On, Brite Minis, and now EC3D Designs. That should be enough to build up a small gathering of frogpeople with unique poises. Here are some examples:

The Printing Goes Ever On has 3 different Models.

EC3D Designs has 4 unique models, plus there is a giant toad included in the Beasts and Baddies Vol 2 set as well. I will include it since I added in the “normal” snakes with the snakepeople.

Brite Minis has 4 unique models.

If you are looking for great-looking models that can be printed on a resin or FDM printer, you can’t go wrong with EC3D Designs on MyMiniFactory.com. His miniatures have a lot of character, and most can be printed supportless. There have been a few different campaigns for miniatures, and they are available after the campaign closes in case you missed out.

Brite Minis is another great source of supportless FDM miniatures. He has a Patreon that gives out ALL of the miniatures in the catalog for only $5/month, with new models coming out regularly.

Keep on gaming!

  1. I’ve got some Forest Sprite Speedpaint coming this week, it’s one of the options I want to look at for some space Orks, I’m hoping it looks a little less yellowish than your pictures.
