Weekly Update

10/30/2022

Another week comes to a close but I was able to get a lot of stuff completed. If you saw the Slapchop post, we will have seen some of the stuff that I was working on.

I was able to complete five pieces of modular hills that could be used with D&D, Pathfinder, miniature wargaming, etc. I am going to include these pieces with the Age of Fantasy Skirmish (AoFS) armies.

I also completed four ruined wall sections. I made these pieces from the thicker EVA gym mats that you can get at Wal-Mart, Five Below, etc. These will also be included the AoFS set.

Here is the completed scorpion from the Massive Darkness 2 set (I think I have posted before that it was Bones 5 Kickstarter, but I went and looked to make sure. It is Massive Darkness 2). I like the way the Slapchop method and acrylic inks look on this model. I have been using more inks since I did this. Next, I should try inks in my airbrush (which I just got new nozzles and needles).

Another model from the Massive Darkness 2 Kickstarter. This bear was part of the Rainbow Crossing expansion.

Another Angry Ball of Eyes from Fat Dragon Games. I love this model (I think I have six or so of them now). I did the Slapchop method on him with traditional speed paints.

More snakemen models from Fat Dragon Games. I used the acrylic inks on these after the Slapchop highlights but I think I liked my older paint scheme on these models better. You can see those models here. I will use these but they are not my favorite paint job.

Here are some medium-sized air elementals from Brite Minis. Quick and dirty and completed in no time.

An ankheg from Brite Minis. A cheap paint job over a Slapchop base/highlights. A little red for the eyes and he is ready for the game table.

Keep on gaming!
