After painting quite a lot of miniatures over the past month or so, I was starting to get a little burnt out on painting. It was more of a chore than the delight painting usually is. Instead of giving up, I decided to do something different: I was going to go back to terrain building! It has been a while since I have built something just to build it. I looked around for something to try that wasn’t too detailed and found this video.

I brought the Proxxon out of the corner and got it going again. I spent most of the day Sunday working on the building but it felt good to be doing some other than painting random miniatures. I got to use the hot glue gun and the Tacky glue.

After a few hours of work, it was sitting on the desk waiting for the Black Magic Basecoat to dry.

During this week, I will get around to painting it up and finishing it, but it was really nice to work on something just to work on something.
