Happy New Year!
We start out with the Archetype roll, which is an 11. We will be making a Powerhouse today. Powerhouse is the muscle of the group (think of The Thing or The Hulk).
For the Abilities section roll, we get an 18, so our hero is going to be a Mutate/Mutant. We enter the abilities into the sheet and we are at 36/150PP used.
Next up is the Advantages section where we get Power Attack automatically then we roll a 13 (Team player) and a 19 (Quick). We add those to the sheet and we are at 39/150PP used.
For the Skills section, we get Close Combat: 2 automatically then rolls of 12 (Rough Upbringing) and 18 (Sharp Mind). With those skill points add to the character sheet, we are at 52/150PP used. Still, no clear concept has popped into my head at this point for the hero….let’s see where we end up.
For powers, the first roll is for the main offensive power and we get a 6, Growth! Our hero can get larger and stronger. When activated, the hero is about 30ft tall! That’s 72/150PP used so far.
For Offensive Powers II, we roll a 5 (Foot Stomp) then roll a 19 (Thunderclap) as alternate power. That’s 83/150PP used. So far, this hero feels like a “Hulk” type character. (Not really a fan, but this is a random character).
For the Defensive Powers, we get four rolls so that’s a 5 (Life Support), a 1 Immunity (Cold), another 1 Immunity (Fire), and a 3 Immunity (Weather). Wow, glad those numbers weren’t rolled in combat! That takes us to 123/150PP used. Hero has some thick skin to protect them from a lot of different descriptors.
For the Movement section, we roll a 2 for Burrowing! Ok, now that is awesome. We are at 135/150PP used. Instead of a thick-skinned “Hulk”, I see our hero being a burrowing animal with a thick coat of fur that protects him. I picture a furry badger person and start a quick Google search for artwork:

Since he is a mutant, I will say he always looks like this, he can just increase his size on demand when he needs the extra power.
For his Utility Power roll, we get a 4 (Fast Recovery!) A little regeneration will help him stay in the fight after taking some big hits. That’s 140/150PP used.
We finish up filling in the extra points in his Defenses and we reach 150/150PP used for this character.
For complications, we choose prejudice (being a mutant) and phobia (Heights). I gave him English and French languages to make him Canadian (of course!) and we are done! I name him Le Blaireau (French for The Badger). I create two sheets for him (one normal size and one large size) to make it easier on the player so they don’t have to do the math (just change sheets when you activate/deactivate the Growth power).
Keep on gaming!
