Happy Sunday, and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!
It’s been a hectic week balancing work and life, but I still carved out a little time for the hobby desk — and managed to wrap up a few projects!

I finally finished the Angry Ball of Eyes from Fat Dragon Games! This one was printed on my Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro using black filament, which meant I could skip priming entirely — always a nice time saver. For painting, I went with the classic slapchop method: a solid white drybrush followed by a few layers of Speed Paints to bring out those creepy details.

Next up is the Shambler from EC3D Design. Like the last project, I printed this one in black PLA on the Neptune 3 Pro, which again let me skip priming. It also got the full SlapChop treatment — a white drybrush and some Speed Paint magic to bring out all those eerie textures.

Here’s the Shambler hanging out with some spruce trees from Fat Dragon Games. These were also FDM printed, then painted with India ink and a quick drybrush of cheap craft paints. The whole process was fast, easy, and they look great on the table — perfect for filling out a forest scene without a ton of effort.

Finally, I wrapped up a pair of broadleaf trees. These were FDM printed and painted much like the spruce trees — a mix of India inks and quick drybrushing with craft paints. Simple, fast, and they really help fill out a natural-looking table setup.
Keep on gaming!
