Miniatures in Progress: My Latest WIP Creations

08/19/2025

Happy Tuesday, and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!

I got more miniatures in the process. I am not sure how many will be completed this week, but I will never run out at the current printing rate.

First, let’s look at the harpies that I printed on Sunday. The models are from Artisan Guild, and they look awesome. They are primed and ready for a zenithal highlighting from my airbrush. Not sure when I will break it out since it is a pain to clean, so I want to make sure that I have quite a few miniatures to highlight before I do it.

Here is a Wendigo and a knight from BriteMinis. These are printed in resin but are designed to be supportless and printable in FDM. Since they are bulky, I should be able to give them a SlapChop highlight and speed paint job.

Here are a pit fighter berserker and a blind demon, both by BriteMinis. These will probably get the SlapChop treatment as well. The beserker reminds me of one of the people that Conan faced at the beginning of the movie.

Here is a fighter that I produced using The Printing Goes Ever On customerizer for creating models. He is just a generic fighter, but I wanted to see how well the program worked. I really like the results and could see using it in the future to create custom models for players in a fantasy TTRPG. He will get airbrush highlights, then be painted sometime shortly.

Here are the hero figures from the latest TPGEO collection. They are the TPGEO equivalents of elves from the Hobbit movie (Legalas, Tauriel, and King Thranduil). These models will need the airbrush to prime them since they are not beefy enough for SlapChop.

Since I am getting to the end of the filament roll on my Neptune 3, I have been printing out more of the Madmartigens, Ozzy Ozbornes, and Ogre Hogans that I will add to my bucket of free miniatures that I give away with all of my Etsy store orders. I usually don’t paint the freebies, so they will come as bare PLA. I really wanted to start to use up more of the rolls before replacing them. Below are the images from BriteMinis that show off the models.

Keep on gaming!
