Crafting Tabletop: Finished Nidhogg and 3D Prints

04/20/2025

Happy Easter Sunday and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!

I was able to complete a couple of projects this week, and I got a lot more started.

I finished Nidhogg. The model is from The Printing Goes Ever On (Asgard Asumement set). It was printed on my Elegoo Saturn 3 resin printer using Elegoo Standard Grey resin. I painted the model with India Inks for the skin and used miniature paints for the eyes, mouth, teeth, and that metal piece on his snout.

I also completed this ruined church. It was printed on my Ender 3 Pro FDM printer. I used black PLA, so I didn’t need to prime it. I gave it a light gray dry brush and painted the wooden pieces with a brown craft paint.

I primed the hill giants and ogres black. The models are from EC3D Designs. (Beasts and Baddies collection) I am not sure if I want to paint them or just sell them as is. I have another set on my crafting desk too.

I finished a YouTube video on painting a dragon turtle. You can see it over on YouTube.com/@TabletopThoughts. We are at 48 subscribers on the channel. 2 more and I am giving away those Ironmoor Trolls. If you want in, subscribe with a public profile. That’s it!

I have also printed out a small band of Bullywogs that I need to print and paint. I’ll add them to the queue behind the snakepeople.

Keep on gaming!
