Happy Tuesday and welcome back to Tabletop Thoughts!
This week, I am working on another custom terrain piece. It started when I printed out a terrain piece.

It consists of a couple of pillars and a wall section. Runes are carved into the stone. I wanted to make this into something, so I looked around at the other pieces I had recently bought and thought it would look good as an Underdark piece, along with the Dollar General mushrooms that I bought a few weeks back.

I attached the model and the mushrooms to a piece of foam core with hot glue, then added Sculptamold to the terrain to make a more realistic ground texture.

I will cover it in the Black Magic Craft Mod Podge mixture to prime it as well as to seal the Sculptamold and the foam mushrooms. When dry, I will paint it with my standard Underdark color theme.
I have also started printing out some of the newer models I received last month from The Printing Goes Ever On. First up is Nidhogg, a wyrm dragon in Norse mythology who is said to gnaw at the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil, and is likewise associated with the dead in Hel and Niflheim.

It is on the printer now and should be done soon. It is printing alongside the characters for this month’s release. (The Saturn 3 buildplate is large!)

I should also have another video done this week. I am not sure if it will be another look at Unnatural Selection for Shadowdark or if it will be a painting video.

I am also planning on doing a quick paint job on the lizardfolk I have been printing out lately. Since I am going to use the same color palette for the group, I might do some assembly line painting to see how many I can finish this week.
Keep on gaming!
