Happy Tuesday! Here is a quick overview of what I will be working on this week in the crafting studio:

I am painting a few hags and an ogre. I really like the sculpts for these models.

The hags are all from The Printing Goes Ever On. I went with the same skin color on all of the hags. I was thinking of using a hag as a major villain for a campaign and the different models could be the same hag as she gets more powerful and transforms into something more monstrous.

I believe that the ogre is from Artisan Guild. He is a beefy boy! I am going with the standard Ork Skin speed paint and will stick to mostly browns and tans for the clothing.

I am still working on my Cyclop skeleton set piece. Since the last pictures I posted, I have made some alterations, which you can see here. I cut the base in half then added that to a foamcore piece so it wasn’t so tall. The original just didn’t look right. I think this looks a lot better. Now, I just need to get some paint on it.

I got the new screen and protector for my Elegoo Mars 3 resin printer yesterday. I should be able to install those tonight and get that printer back up and running. I am hoping that is the only issue that I have to fix. While this is the first time I have had to do any maintenance to this printer, working on electronics isn’t new to me. I am an engineer in the electronics field with almost 30 years of experience. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.

I ordered an Elegoo Saturn 3 resin printer for Christmas. Between the two resin printers, I shouldn’t have to use the Ender 3 Pro for anything but terrain pieces, even though I really like supportless models from Fat Dragon Games and Brite Minis.

We lost a person at my 2nd job so I have picked up a shift this week already and might get another one. While the extra money is nice, especially with Christmas coming up, it will put a small dent into the amount of stuff I get completed this week. I am off Saturday with no plans so I might be okay. We will see.

I am also considering running a huge sale on my Etsy store for the holidays. I have a lot of items available and I would like to clean most of those out before the beginning of 2025. I will probably start it on Black Friday (hey, everyone else is doing it!) and continue it through Christmas Day. Please see if there is anything that you would like to see added to the store and let me know. I am always open to suggestions about what I sell.
