Ok, we asked ChatGPT to create a random dungeon encounter (in more word than this but you get the idea), and here is what we got:

Encounter name: The Lost Temple

The adventurers find themselves wandering through a labyrinthine series of tunnels in the Underdark, the dim light of their torches barely illuminating the way ahead. Suddenly, they come across an ancient temple, its walls covered in strange runes and symbols. As they approach the entrance, a group of demons emerges from the shadows, their eyes glowing with malice.

Monster: A pack of lesser demons, including quasits, dretches, and manes.

Environment: The Lost Temple is an ancient, abandoned temple that has long been forgotten by the outside world. The walls are covered in strange symbols and carvings, and the air is thick with the smell of mildew and decay. The temple is filled with twisting corridors, hidden chambers, and deadly traps, making it a treacherous place to explore.

Treasure: The demons have been hoarding a cache of stolen treasure, including gold coins, gems, and magical artifacts. The treasure is well-hidden and protected by traps and illusions, making it a challenging prize to obtain. Ok, sounds like we need to break out the FIENDS miniatures and some terrain!

We start with the dungeon board made with a canvas from Broken Terrain’s YouTube Channel. We add some UDT walls, an open arch doorway, and some square pillars along with the Statue of Orcus.

For the demons, I go with some rubbery demons from the Monster Mini Action Figure Playset. The smaller demons are from Mage Knight (I think) that have been put onto a different base.

The PCs have a lot of options with this encounter. The heroes could try talking to the demons. to get information about the temple and its treasure. The Demons might try to trick the heroes. The demons might just attack the players, especially if the cleric starts casting spells that cause Radiant damage.
