More geography of the area. I really need to get to work on that map! It sounds like beyond the Golden Field is the great desert of Saren and the Diamond Heights Mountains divide Thessaria from Aranthia.

Starting Town: Golden Fields NPCs:

1. Farmer Ben is a grizzled old farmer who is always happy to talk about the weather and the crops.
2. Alchemist Miranda is a mysterious woman who runs the local apothecary.
3. Mayor Alaric is a kindly old man who has been in charge of the town for as long as anyone can remember.

A good few NPCs for the heroes to meet in the starting town. These can be contacts for quest hooks.

Adventure Hooks:

1. Cursed Fields: The local crops have been hit by a strange blight that seems to be spreading. The adventurers are asked to find the source of the blight and put a stop to it.
2. Missing Artifact: A local museum has had a valuable artifact stolen, and the adventurers are asked to retrieve it before it falls into the wrong hands.

These are some good starting quests for a low-level party.
