Well, that went better than I expected.
Earlier this year, I signed up so I could have the license to sell True Tiles and EC3D Designs models and miniatures. Since I wanted to avoid the hassle of running an Etsy-type store where I have to make and ship orders on a schedule (I still have 2 jobs at this point), I thought that I could try selling miniatures and terrain that I had already on eBay.
I thought I would start with something basic and see how things went. I chose the two shamblers that I recently painted and listed them on eBay.

I put the listing at a starting bid of $5 with the option to just buy at $15 with the buyer paying shipping costs for either option. I thought it might get some views and sell in the 10 days it would be listed. It sold in under 4 hours at $15!
I threw in a FREE miniature with the order (it says this on the listings). This order is shipping with a skeleton warrior that I painted and posted last Sunday.
I am quite happy with how this went. I am going to do more miniatures and terrain pieces in the near future. Starting this month, I am a Patreon for BriteMinis at the Shopkeeper level so I now have the commercial license to sell these miniatures as well.
I am planning on the elementals that I showed off in the last Weekly Update to be my next listing on eBay. I am using my eBay name: dmdavidspoorlypaintedprints for all of my transactions.
I have a couple of bigger projects in the works that I want to finish soon and get listed:
The first one is the Delian Tomb adventure from Matt Colville. I will provide all of the dungeon tiles and miniatures to run my version of the adventure (like a one-shot in a box). It will include 4 pre-generated PC miniatures (and character sheets) as well along with some extra doors and things so the buyer can use it for more than just one adventure. I have all of the tiles and pieces printed out already. I am currently finishing up the last of the miniatures then it should be ready.
The second is going to be for One Page Rules Age of Fantasy Skirmish. I will list two complete 250-point armies and sell them as a starter set. I will print out and laminate the army lists and the one-page ruleset so you can set it up and run it right out of the box. (You’ll just need to supply some terrain). I have all of the miniatures printed out and primed for a Human army and a Goblin army. I just need to paint them up and they are ready for listing.
So, if you like the work that you see here on this blog, please feel free to go over there and see what I have listed. I will have items listed as soon as I have them ready.
Keep on gaming!
