Here is the random encounter from ChatGPT:
As the party of adventurers makes their way through the twisting corridors of a dark dungeon, they come across a chamber filled with a strange, glowing mist. As they cautiously approach the room, they hear the sound of chanting voices coming from within.
When the party enters the room, they find a group of cultists performing a strange ritual, led by their robed leader, a sinister-looking figure known as the High Priestess of the Crimson Flame. The cultists, armed with wicked-looking daggers and surrounded by an otherworldly aura, turn to face the party and prepare to defend their sacred space.
In the ensuing battle, the party must fight their way past the cultists, using all of their skills and abilities to overcome the High Priestess and her followers. If they are successful, they can search the chamber and find a treasure trove of stolen artifacts, magical items, and other treasures, including a map to a long-forgotten treasure hoard hidden deep within the dungeon.
The map is old and tattered, but it is clear enough for the party to follow, leading them on a perilous journey through dangerous traps, puzzles, and creatures. If the party is skilled enough to navigate the hazards of the dungeon and find the treasure hoard, they will be rewarded with vast riches and magical items beyond their wildest dreams.
This could be a fun encounter to play out. First, we will need to set up the board:

I would place three cultists (there are 3 PCs in the party) as well as the High Priestess near the altar. I would have the colored light too to include the otherworldly glow. In the pictures, I have my dungeon UDT set up with the UDT walls and corners to show where the boundaries of the room are.
The pillars will add some terrain for cover for the archer in the party or the High Priestess. I would have the aura have some mechanical effect on the game. Maybe the cultists have some bonus to attacks or a low-level regeneration. You could say it was a blessing from their demonic master. There should be something that the PCs can do to neutralize the effect. (Putting out the fires? Blessing the altar?) This could be a good chance to add the timer die from Index Card RPG to the game. Roll a D4 at the start of the encounter. At the end of each round, decrease the number on the die by one. When the die goes to zero, something bad happens. Maybe, more enemies arrive at the chamber. Maybe the demon master himself appears. Maybe bolts of fire shoot out of the flames toward all of the PCs.
I would place the treasure either inside a compartment hidden on the statue or on top of the altar.
Keep on gaming!
