Happy Sunday! This week was dominated by scatter and terrain pieces with a few miniatures getting finished.

You can feel the evil emanating from this shrine…

Here is the completed Shrine to Orcus from Fat Dragon Games. It will be featured in a future Random Encounter on Monday.

Frogfolk welcome you into the Feywild Mushroom Forest.

The frogfolk are from BriteMinis. The mushrooms are from Dollar Tree. I didn’t even paint them, just gave them a sepia wash to bring out the details on the stems. I based them on wooden circles and added some flocking. A simple project that adds to the scenery.

Our heroes have an encounter in the open water.

The aboleth (BriteMinis) was painted by the daughter, I just did the base which is just a 3″ wooden circle painted blue with some water effects on top. The heroes were done before and I have been using them in my Random Encounter posts. I placed this encounter on my sky background since I don’t have a water UDT yet… might be a good next project.

Our heroes rush to stop the evil cultists from completing their ritual on the mountaintop shrine.

Here is the completed terrain piece I have been working on for the past week or two. The cultists in the front are from the Wrath of Ashardalon board game. I have had those painted for years. The cultist on the stone circle is actually Desaad from Heroclix on a new base.
