Another week ends with more items joining the ever-growing collection of miniatures and terrain. Let’s see what was completed this week:

A pair of adventurers find a holy statue among the old ruins of some forgotten temple.
I can’t remember where I got the holy statue but it is an excellent addition to the scatter terrain I have been creating lately. The male fighter is from Massive Darkness and the female warrior is from BriteMinis.
Massive Darkness and Massive Darkness 2 both have great models. CMON is a great company for getting a lot of models for cheap in their games.

A pair of Dwarven brothers prepare to enter an abandoned mine in search of lost treasure.
Both of these models are from the Massive Darkness board game. The dwarves in that game are excellent models.

Even the royal guard enjoys a slice of pizza!
The guard is from BriteMinis and the pizza dragon is from the Bones 5 Kickstarter. I really wanted to get that pizza dragon out of the box of shame so I painted it up. It will never see a game table.

A pair of Yuan-Ti soldiers confront a crystal drake and a digger.
The crystal drake is from the Bones 5 Kickstarter. My daughter painted that model up and it looks great. I coated it in a gloss coating to make it shiny like crystal. It looks even better in person with the way the light catches different colors as it moves. The digger I believe is from BriteMinis and the snake-men are from Fat Dragon Games.
I painted the digger using my old method of painting to compare it to the SlapChop method I have been using lately. It looks good but took a long time to do.
I prepared both of them using the SlapChop method then painted the one on the left using acrylic inks and the one on the right using Speed Paints from Army Painter.

A lizardfolk knight and her goblin squire make their way through the forest.
The lizardfolk is from Fat Dragon Games and so is the goblin. The beehive and the small tree behind the goblin are both gnome village pieces that I got at Dollar Tree. I didn’t even have to paint them, just mount them on a base and flock it. These look great on the table for hardly any effort. An easy way to get terrain on the table if you are on a budget.
Keep on gaming!
