Another week ends, and I once again have completed some more items for the craft. This week, we have a special event. While putting the miniatures I painted away last week, I found the 4th, 5th, and 6th miniatures I ever painted. These metal miniatures have been sitting in the box for 30 years and I decided to break them out and give them a makeover.

Here they are standing on their new bases (they tended to tip over before). I use plastic counter chips and E6000. The paint was Testor Enamel paints (I didn’t know any better).

Here is the gang now, making their way from a small town in search of fortune and fame.

“Hon, do you think those zombies have any money?”

Here is a farmer and his wife along with a male and female zombie. All of these models are from the Bones 5 Kickstarter that I backed. I did the SlapChop method on the male zombie and a spray-on zenithal prime on the female zombie. I think the SlapChop looks better. The spray paint leaves little spots on the model. I don’t know if I would have better results with my airbrush, but I don’t break it out often enough to know.

Here is a forest encounter between a halfling barbarian, an elf ranger, and a twig blight. The halfling is actually a Dreamblde Redcap that I put on a new base and touched up the paint. The elf is a Brite Minis model that I have printed and painted before. The twig blight is from the Bones 5 Kickstarter.

The undead and Yuan-Ti square off in the Underdark!

The female Yuan-Ti is from Brite Minis and the skeleton is from the Rune Wars board game. This was the first time I printed out one of the female snakemen from the Brite Minis and I have to say I like it. While the Snakemen from Fat Dragon Games are still my favorite, these models add more variety to the group.

I don’t know how Professor Dungeonmaster over on Dungeoncraft can do it. I am just taking pictures with less models and scenery on the table and it seems to take a long time to do these pictures. How he can set up and do videos for his campaign updates on a regular basis is amazing. I follow him on Facebook and YouTube and I am a Patreon because of the great content that he puts out.
