We got a few more things completed this week. The road is for the one-shot project I am working on, but I took a small break from the project to make something else to use up some scrap corkboard that I had lying around.

For the one-shot, the opening scene is the PCs traveling down a road where they encounter a robbery just finishing. I made this “road” using cereal box cardboard, some sand, some woodland scenic foam flock, and grass tufts. To make it a little stronger, I mounted the finished piece to single-layer cardboard. There is a small amount of warp to the piece now that the glue has dried. I might put some glue on the bottom of the cardboard to straighten it out.

To use up the scrap corkboard I had, I made some Underdark cave scatter. I really like how these look. I got the idea from Broken Terrain on YouTube, although he was using it for lava terrain. You can see the video here.
I have also been painting up the scatter terrain for the one-shot. Most of it is complete so that leaves a lot of bandits that I need to paint.
Keep on gaming!
