#HobbyWeek 37

06/19/2022

Happy Father’s Day 2022! It has been a slow crafting week (a month at this point). I have been really busy at work and with all of the stuff that comes with summer, but I was able to get a few things completed this week.

First up are some crabs that I got in a bag of sea creatures from Dollar Tree. I got the Goodman Games Temple of Elemental Evil Box set for Christmas and was reading through it. There are some giant sea creatures in the Moathouse. I bought these sea creatures months ago but had the urge to get some painted up. Just shows you that the miniatures that you place on the table don’t have to cost a lot or be some highly detailed 3D resin print. Your players will just be happy to have something that looks close.

I also 3D printed out some infinity cubes. I made one for me to take to work (I fidget so it gives me something to do with my hands) and a lot of people liked them. So I have been printing them all week. I made a pair of black cubes that I already took to work before I got photos of them, but here are the rest that hasn’t made it to work yet. They are pretty cool.

I have some medieval fairs coming up that will take some time away from crafting, but work is coming back down to normal levels so that should free up time to get more done and on the table. I also want to get more work in on the airbrush.

I am also working on a new one-shot adventure project. Everything is printed for it, but the painting is going slow. I was hoping that I could speed that up using the airbrush. After that, I just need to craft a dirt road terrain piece and the parts are done. The adventure is going to take a little work, but I want to have premade characters to hand out. I was going to make 8 characters to allow the players to choose one that they like.

Keep on gaming!
