The #HobbyStreak continues again this week with more craft projects completed! Surprisingly, none of the items done this week were 3D printed. (Wait until next week…)
I got a decent amount done starting with…

I finished the new UDT 2.0 that I started earlier in the week. I am much more satisfied with this one. The inner circle has a brown tint to it, the middle circle is a nice gray, and the outer ring is a dark gray. I have a new set of pillars and walls that I printed just for this new UDT. Those should show up in the next What’s on the Table Tuesday?

I was also able to complete some more miniatures!

I finished one townsfolk from Bone 5, a small rock golem from Bones 5, a repaint of a dinosaur I got at Dollar Tree, and another townsfolk from Bones 5. (I should have grouped them for the photo…)

I think the repaint makes the dinosaur look less cartoony and more like a dinosaur, although nobody knows what a dinosaur looked like so maybe they were cartoony looking.

I also finished 5 dread rats (like a giant rat, but large-sized. See here.). These were small rubbery rats that came in a cheap package around Halloween. I had to use E6000 to get them to stick to the 2″ wooden circles that I use for bases. You can normally get packages that contain spiders, snakes, rats, etc around Halloween at dollar stores or Wal-Mart. While they aren’t perfect, they are a giant improvement over a rock, plastic chip, etc to show a giant rat on the table. Sometimes having something that looks like the monster, even if not the perfect miniature, is better for the immersion of the game especially if you are playing with younger gamers.
Keep on gaming!
