Superhero Saturday

03/26/2022

Welcome to another episode of Superhero Saturday! Today we will be creating a Shapeshifter!

For the Abilities section, we roll a 2, we the hero is an Everyman/Everywoman. We add those abilities to the character sheet. That’s 32/150PP used.

Under the Advantage section, we get a couple automatic advantages then we need to roll on the table. we roll an 18, so the hero is Wealthy. We add those to the character sheet and we reach 38/150PP.

For the Skills section, we get two rolls so we get a 4 (Adventurer) and an 8 (Explorer). Adding those we are up to 58/150PP. Still, a lot of PP to go…

Next is the Powers section. We roll a natural 20 so the hero is a Stretcher! (Not the kind in the back of an ambulance!) We add A LOT of different powers into the character sheet and we end up at 126/150PP.

We put the points into Defenses and that is it for the hero, we are at 150/150PP!

Now we need to find a piece of community artwork that brings the character to life. Here is what we decide to use:

Flexigal is the daughter of wealthy parents and spends her time exploring the world (adventurer and explorer).

Complications are going to be Identity and Motivation: Thrills. Flexigal’s identity is a secret, even from her parents. She spends her time fighting crime and exploring the world for the thrill of it.

After this week, there is only one more archetype (Gadgeteer) in the Gamemaster’s kit then we are done with all 20 archetypes! Wow, that went by quickly…

After that, I was thinking of starting to go back to the Avengers and X-Men that I had created for the one-shot posted here. I have 16 character files so I was going to work on one of those a week. I was thinking of starting off with two heroes at PL15 then working my way down to PL10 with 2 or 4 heroes at each PL in between. I should have the list completed before next week to show off the idea.

Keep on gaming!
