Superhero Saturday

02/12/2022

Welcome back to another Superhero Saturday! Today we will be generating a (rolls a 10), Paragon! This is the Superman, Homelander, etc member of the team.

We start with a roll on the Abilities table. We get a 16, so the hero is a Vessel. (You are the vessel for the power of a god or some other supernatural force.) Adding those abilities to the character sheet brings us up to 74/150PP

Under the Advantages Section, we get a 1, so the hero is an Athlete. We add those advantages to the character sheet and that is 78/150PP

Next is the hero’s Skills. We roll twice and get a 4 (Athlete) and 13 (Charismatic). Our hero is a charismatic athlete for a God …94/150PP

Under the Powers section, first up is an Offensive Power. We roll a 10 so our hero has Super-Strength. Next is automatically given Defensive Power, then we roll a 17 under Movement Power so our hero has Super Movement (Fast running, Leaping, Swinging, and Wall Crawling). Last is Utility Power which is a 4, Improved Invulnerability. That takes us up to 138/150PP

We add the points into the Defenses and that is 150/150PP.

By the time I go to this point, I knew who I wanted for this hero, HERCULES! Everything was pointing to him from the beginning. Plus, the last character that we generated was an altered human that serves Hercules. Why not just bring in the big man himself! The only parts that threw me a bit were the swinging and wall-crawling, but looking at the descriptions helped out. Swinging can be from tree branches and lines (He is an Athlete) and Wall-crawling can be him just being so strong that he can grasp into most materials to just climb (Kind of like the Hulk hanging onto the buildings in the Avengers movie).

For the complications, I added Fame and Temper. Hercules is a Greek God that everyone has heard of and he is known to have a short temper.

Keep on gaming!
