What’s on the Table Tuesday

02/01/2022

Welcome to another What’s on the Table Tuesday. I have been trying to get more of the miniatures on the table painted so I have been trying to print out less to paint.

I got these small picture frames from a local dollar store around Christmas. These are supposed to be ornaments for a tree but I thought I could use them to make paintings for my games. I painted the inside of the frames black then printed out some medieval portraits scaled to fit. I cut them out and glued them into the frames. I covered the pictures with gloss Mod Podge so they would have that shine like a real painting. I still want to add a brown wash over the frames to darken them a little then they are done. I printed out clip-on wall sections so I can glue the paintings to them. Then, I just clip on the wall when I need a painting. I like to use the Wyloch inspired True Tiles for my games. I just need to paint the walls with my 3 tone grey paint scheme and we are good.

The miniatures

I have been printing more articulating models and fewer miniatures as I try to get these guys off the table. I am going to focus on the lizardfolk this week and finally finish them up. After that, the wizard then the skeletons. Skeletons are easy to they should go fast, especially when they are batch painted.

Power Node

I really don’t like the gunmetal on this node. I am thinking of priming it white again then just picking out some of the details in different colors. I might paint the supports silver but the body doesn’t look good in my opinion. Is there a color scheme that you would like to see on this model? Please leave a comment and let me know what you would like to see on it.

Keep on gaming!
