Near the center of Justice City stands Battle Hall, a large marble building that houses one of the premier superhero teams on the planet, the Battle League. As the camera pans through the halls of the building, we find ourselves in a huge laboratory where Brian and Sue Battle are hard at work. As they look over holographic diagrams of the new security systems that were just installed into the Battle Hall, Sue receives an alert on her monitor. It is her old college friend, Rehema Hadad, who has recently taken the throne of Resaba.

Sue presses a button on the screen and the face of a young woman wearing a crown appears on the monitor. "Queen Hadad. I heard about your father. I am sorry." 

"Thank you, Sue. I wish I was calling on better terms but I need your help. Since my father died and left me as the Queen of Resaba, there has been rumbling among the people that a woman should not lead the country. In two days, there is going to be a ceremony followed by a parade where I will be officially introduced to the people as their Queen. I fear that someone may try to kill me." Queen Hadad was visibly upset but trying to hide it. A Queen isn't supposed to show fear, especially to an outsider.

"We won't let that happen. If someone would kill you, who would take over? You have no children." Susan appeared puzzled by the idea.

"The Serpent Pharoah. He claims to be the reincarnation of King Amenenheb who rules over these lands thousands of years ago." With the mention of Serpent Pharoah, Brian Battle walks over and joins the conversation. "Serpent Pharoah has been a thorn in my side for years now. We will stop him and make sure that you are safe." He looks over to his wife and nods. "Prepare the team."

"Thank you. I look forward to seeing you again Sue." A small smile crossed Queen Hadad's face as she appeared to be relieved by the idea of the Battle League agreeing to assist in this matter.
