Another Sunday so another #HobbyWeek!. I was able to complete more projects this week. Let’s start with the house.

I completed the house that I started when I was trying to get past the crafting burnout (see here). It is a simple house with a very simple paint job but it will work for terrain on a game board for D&D, Frostgrave, Age of Fantasy, etc.

Here are the bugs that I started about a week ago. I have 6 painted up and on the clear stands so they look like they are flying. I have 6 more that just need the stands and 12 more that need to be painted first. Those have been moved to the side for now since I have a Stitch phone stand that I am trying to get completed before Christmas.

I finished up the Overgourd miniature from the Bones 5 Kickstarter. I put it on a 3″ base and added some roots and flocking. I think he looks pretty good. He might be making an appearance next Halloween if I put together a Holiday One-Shot of D&D, although it could work in almost any genre of game (superheroes, horror, etc)

I printed out a pair of snakes this week and got them painted. I really like these snakes. They print up as a single articulating piece and it only takes about 6hours to make one. The gold one is going to a young lady that I work with and the silver one is going to sit on top of the shelf in my cubicle at work, along with the Mandolorian, Batman’s bust, and a black articulating octopus. I made a tongue for my silver snake out of red ribbon that was coated with gloss Mod Podge to stiffen it up and protect it. There is a lot of detail on the heads of those snakes so I painted the eyes black and coated them with gloss Mod Podge after applying a black wash to the entire head.
That’s it this week. Stay tuned for What’s on the Table Tuesday to see the Stitch phone stand along with the other 3D printed gift that I am working on for this Christmas season. Plus, see if I make any progress on the miniatures that I have on the table.
Keep on gaming!
