While cleaning up the office, I stopped and took some pictures of my game collection shelves. The top of this bookcase has a lot of items for crafting terrain. There are paints, Mod Podge, glues, adhesives, etc. plus an organizational bins case labeled with 1″ disks (counting chips), wooden circles, etc. The colorful shelf to the right have my flock, moss, plants, string, tape, bigger tools that don’t fit on the desk, etc)

The 1st bookshelf has all of my superhero RPG materials on the top shelf. There is a BUNCH of Mutants and Masterminds on this shelf (almost everything made by Green Ronin, plus a lot of the extra material published by Vigilance Press. There are also all of the Marvel Heroic Books that were printed, the Marvel Universe RPG books, and ICONS. I even did a Kickstarter for ICONS Hero Pack 4 at a level where I could design and include a hero in the book. I sent in my wife’s favorite character from City of Heroes, Lady Shade. I sent in a small backstory and a screenshot from the game and below is what was included int he book:

The bottom shelf is all of the offical Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition books that have been released. I believe the only book that I don’t have here or on pdf is the Rick and Morty book. I have never watched the show and something about it just doesn’t interest me.

In the crate is all of the 3rd party books that I have gotten through Kickstarter (except The Isle of Dread, which was already released and I really like that module). Plenty of monsters and new spells in there.
I like the books from Kobold Press and back them when I can. I have Matt Colville’s Strongholds and Followers book and I have pledged for the Kingdoms and Warfare book that should be here sometime in 2022.

The 2nd bookcase is actually two 2-shelf bookcases stacked on each other. The bottom shelf has my Star Wars RPG books from Fantasy Flight Games and the older Wizards of the Coast edition. I had a lot of these books… Also on this shelf are my Vampire books, Werewolf books, as well as my Dungeon Crawl Classics and Mutant Crawl Classics books by Goodman Games. While I haven’t gotten to play either of those games, I would really like to try it out one of these days. Maybe a one-shot for a holiday?
The next shelf up contains my Adventures in Middle Earth books that are compatible with 5e D&D as well as my older editions of Dungeons and Dragons. There are some AD&D books as well as a lot of books from the 4th edition. I actually liked the 4th edition of the game and played it a lot with my brothers when it was still being published.
The next shelf up is a mess. It has my Fate book, Shadowrun 2nd edition, Starfinder book, Index Card RPG book, Five Torches Deep, Super Secret Spy Agency, Cartoon Action Hour 3, Twilight 2000 boxset, Frostgrave 2nd edition book, and all of the books for Basic Fantasy RPG, which is actually free to download. I like having books so I paid for them but they were really cheap (about $5 for the core rules). I also have the pdf books that I have printed out on that shelf. Five Parsecs from Home, Zona Alfa, Planet 28, and Power Legion. I also have a collection of HeroClix characters that I am converting into characters that I will be able to use for home games of Marvel Crisis Protocol. I will print out the rules and character cards then set up the boards and play. I can’t go to a tournament with this homemade stuff but I can still play with my friends here at my house. If we really like it, then I can see investing the money for the miniatures.
The top shelf is my One Page Rules Skirmish armies and the foam game boards that I can use with Frostgrave or any other system. Those boards are 12″x12″ and painted a plain grey color with some light highlights. I used these boards in the Five Parsecs from Home game I ran a few weeks ago. See here.
Please feel free to comment with your pictures of your RPG collections. It is always nice to show off a collection. Mine is not the biggest or the best selection of RPG books in the world, but it is mine and I am proud of it. Maybe next time, I will show off the crafting table (if I ever get a chance to clean it up!)
As always, keep on gaming!
