New One-Shot Project

11/04/2021

I was looking through some of my older Bexim’s Bazaar magazines when I came around this dungeon map:

I thought it would make a nice contained one-shot-sized dungeon. Since I want to stay with True Tiles like My Take on the Delian Tomb, I needed to make some adjustments to the map to make it fit the 2×2 tile layout. This is what I came up with using Dungeon Scrawl:

My Take on the Warlock’s Abode

I have a few extra True Tiles leftovers from when I was printing out the Tomb so I just need to make all of the tiles, stairs, clips, scatter pieces, and doors for this one-shot.

I am almost done with the current spool of black filament on my Ender 3 Pro. After that, I have to change over to Red to print out a dice tower for another one of my players then change over to Blue to do another tower for a different player. After that, back to Black and start printing tiles out for this adventure. Like the Delian Tomb, I plan on putting this into a separate box to keep ready for a surprise game night. Everything (Including some pre-generated PCs) will be included in the box.

Something that is missing from this map is the actual adventure. I will have to create something then print out all of the creatures for this adventure. Is the warlock alive and menacing a small local village? Is the warlock long dead and his undead form haunting the local forest? What treasures await anyone brave enough to venture into the darkness below? If you have any ideas, please feel free to let them in a comment. I could use the help.

I will try to take pictures of the progress and place this on this blog to keep anybody interested in the loop. (They made just end up as part of the #HobbyWeek updates)

Keep on gaming!
