Five Parsecs from Home Turn 1 After Battle Plus Turn 2 Setup.

Turn 1 Aftermath:
While cleaning up the battlefield, Chet discovers a small box that contains some personal effects hidden away behind some old pipes. He stashes the box in his bag, hoping to sell it later off-planet. Zachary finds a small journal written in an alien language. He will try to discover what is up with this when off duty.
Brandis and Bea meet up with Ms. Janis and let her know that the job is complete. They are paid then reminded by Ms. Janis that they are not to contact her anymore. Brandis and Bea then decide to use some of the new money to get some better weapons. They find a seller in the marketplace and purchase an Infantry Laser and another shotgun.
While Brandis and Bea were shopping, Chet, Zachary, and Mark find a small pub on the outpost and have a few drinks. As they sit there badmouthing the outpost, a gentleman at the next table seems to be getting upset. When Mark says something to the man, the group finds out that he is Mr. Moore, the manager of the station and he doesn’t really care for mercenaries as it is, but when those mercenaries are talking badly about his station, that makes him upset. The group blows it off and stumbles back to the Vencarlo, but they have made an enemy of the station manager.
Later that night, Zachary and Brandis sit down and have a conversation about the Children of the Clean. Zachary explains some of the rituals and edicts of the cult, clearing up some of the questions that Brandis had.


Campaign Round 2
Step 1: Travel – Since the crew has made an enemy on Argo, Brandis decides to move along to another planet to look for work. He pays 5 credits (34 now) for fuel and the Vencarlo heads into space.
Space Travel Encounter: 42 = Distress call. If you come to their aid, roll 1D6. (4) You can rescue a crew member. Treat this as the Escape Pod event. Roll d6 (5): They are willing to join your crew. Roll up a new character, but they come with no equipment at all. If you don’t want to hire them, they just leave at the next world.
Crew type: Strange Alien (79) Bork, a Bio-Upgrade (95)
New Planet: Napus (Breathable Mix, Temperate, Human-miscible biosphere, Tens of thousands of inhabitants, slightly backwater technology) No license for freelance work.
World Trait: Corporate state +2 when rolling to find a Patron. Patrons are always Corporations. Failing a mission means being blacklisted and you cannot get Patrons here again.

Step 2: World

  1. Upkeep and ship repairs
    a) Brandis pays 2 credits upkeep (32 credits now)
    b) Brandis makes a payment of 10 credits (22 credits) on the ship debt (10 credits debt left)
    c) Brandis sells water from purifier (23 credits)

    a) Brandis will look for a Patron. (+2 Corp state) – 1 Job
    b) Bea will train with Chet (+1XP)
    c) Mark will try to repair the Battle Visor. Spends 2 credits (+3 total): 9 fixes battle visor
    d) Zachary will Explore. Offered a Reward…will need to expand on this when we get closer to battle.

    f) Bork is going to look for his Rival. No Rival battle this turn.
