I got a lot more done this week for the craft! 22 miniatures painted and ready for the table. I am not a master painter by any means but these will look good enough from 3 ft away which is the standard I try to achieve.

I got a couple more humanoid miniatures done this week. These are more like NPC than PC miniatures. I got these miniatures on eBay. They come from Russia so it takes a little time but they are worth it if you like cheap miniatures. I found out about these miniatures from a YouTube channel called Miniature Mash-Up. He is still active but the flow of videos has slowed down. I also got a 3D printed Nothic done. I found him on Shapeways and it was done by Miguel Zavala. He has created free .stl models of most, if not all, of the monsters from the D&D 5E monster manual.

The big guy in the back is from the latest Bone 5 kickstarter. There were a lot of great looking miniatures in there so I had to back it. It looks like it is part tiger/ part dragon.

I also got a group of 12 beetles painted up. I already had some beetles but I wanted more. One of my friends had been running a D&D 5E game (I usually am the DM, but I am getting a chance to play). Last week, we encountered some giant bugs in an underground cavern. We used some lizard miniatures as a stand in so I thought I would make him some bugs. I got the bugs from a video I saw from Crafts and Minis. Great channel but he hasn’t had a new video in over a year. Simple paint job but now we have bugs!

There were six different bugs in the tub so I did a couple of spiders and grasshoppers as well. I have a lot of spiders so I will end up giving these to my DM as well. (That is a good point: ALWAYS help out your DM whenever and however you can. Everything from making terrain and miniatures to just bringing snacks to the game.)

I still have A LOT of miniatures and terrain pieces to paint so you can see in my container. Plus, I am in the process of printing out a whole bunch of dungeon sticks. These should only require a gray primer coat then some wash and dry brushing. I am hoping that I will be getting a lot of these done over the upcoming holidays.
I might do a post in the future about all of the different types of miniatures and where I get them. Cheap miniatures are always a good thing!
As always, keep on gaming!
